A personal project

With experience in notable wine growing regions in France and Spain, Tomás Santos Irujo chose La Cantera de Santa Ana as the site for his most personal journey into winemaking.

“I’ve known this winery for many years and was aware of the potential of the land to produce high-quality wines. One day, I visited the estate and was captivated by this shot”.

Background

Born in Pamplona, Tomás holds a degree in Biology from the University of Navarra. Interested in furthering his education, he moved to Tarragona to study a degree in Oenology at Rovira i Virgili University. There it was that he met his future wife Silvia, also winemaker.

Together, they decided to work in Navarra, meaning Tomás was to return to his roots. Here, too, they chose to start their family.
